三通一般分為等徑三通，異徑三通，材料有碳鋼，合金鋼和不銹鋼。我公司主要生產不銹鋼三通，
三通就是一段主管加上一個小的分支管，顯然，兩個大的尺寸是主管，中間接出來的小尺寸就是支管. 在純氧管線中，一般是有壓力的，這時氧的活性更大；如使用焊接三通，只要管內雜物在隨氧氣流移動時，因管徑變化，流速產生變化可能引起雜物與管子的碰撞產用火源或者因流速變化產用的靜電放電，都可能引起純氧管的著火。
三通管件被廣泛用石油、航天制藥、飲料，食品機械，化工、冶金、電力、軍工、工程配套等工業管道上。
在生產工藝上分兩種：一種是無縫冷拔三通，另一種是有縫焊接三通。
